Microfat injection

Microfat injection
Microfat injection, also known as structural fat grafting, is an advanced technique in fat transfer surgery aimed at enhancing facial contours, correcting defects, and rejuvenating skin quality.

During the procedure, fat is harvested from a donor site on the body using a small aspiration cannula and then processed through centrifugation to isolate healthy microfat cells. These microfat cells are meticulously injected in small amounts, less than 0.1 cc at a time, in discrete layers to build new soft tissue structures.

One of the key benefits of microfat injection is its success in less mobile areas such as tear troughs, hollow under eyes, dark circles, chin, sunken cheeks, and temporal depression. Unlike traditional fillers, microfat injections can yield long-lasting to permanent results, particularly in areas with minimal movement.

Moreover, microfat injections have been shown to stimulate tissue repair and rejuvenate skin quality, making them an effective tool in volumetric facelifts or fat rejuvenation procedures. Microfat injection can be combined with Nanofat injection.

Performed with specialized techniques and instruments, microfat injection offers natural-appearing aesthetic enhancements with lasting results.
